Dear Health workers

I recently lost my dad to Covid19. There are no words to describe the helplessness you feel when a loved one is rushed to hospital with no visitation from family and friends. However, I salute the men and women who so graciously took care of my dad during his last days.
Thank you for ensuring that he was comfortable, that he received all the messages we sent him and lastly for trying your very best to explain to us which treatment he was getting and the procedures being followed.

Be encouraged by the scripture from Galatians 6 vs 9: "Let us not become weary in doing good, for at the proper time we will reap a harvest if we do not give up"
Keep on keeping on. God is with you always !

Dear Nurse,

When you are feeling run down. When you are weary. When your feet feel heavy and you don't think you can take another step. When the weight of the world seems like it's crashing on your shoulders. When your ears can only hear the deafening sound of despair and the humming of machines. Here is a reminder to let you know that what you do matters. The bread winner of ten gets to go back home. The aspiring soccer player, engineer, politician, concert pianist or pilot gets to wake up and live to realise their dreams. The first time dad gets to meet his new born baby and gets reunited with his wife. The teacher gets to teach her pupils again. The policemen gets to continue serving his community. Even when the inevitable is unavoidable, thank you for being there as we go away to shine as the stars.

Patience

To all our frontliners

We really appreciate you giving of yourselves during these uncertain times. We've always needed you, but we probably underestimated your powers in the past. Now, more than ever, everyone is looking up to you.

Thank you for your selfless sacrifices and availing yourselves to serve us. I would like you to know that God's hand is upon you as His word says: ....but God is faithful, who will not allow you to be tempted beyond what you are able, but with the temptation will also make the way of escape, that you may be able to bear it. 1 Corinthians 10:13 (NKJV).

So be assured that God's love is there for you, no matter what.
We love you and are praying for you always.

Kaylee

We are all part of the body of Christ, and every single one of us are part of the body. We each have a different purpose, we each have a different function. If one of us was missing there would be an integral function missing from the body and something would not be done. We will all walk a different path, we will all have something different to add to the earth, we are all here for a different purpose. During this time, now more than ever we are seeing the world wide influence that you working on the front like has. We are seeing how without you we wouldn't be a functional planet. There is nothing that we could do about the function that would not be done if you were missing. You have such an amazing significant purpose in this time that the world is going through. THANKYOU

Nicole

To the hero reading this,

"For God is sheer beauty,
all generous in love,
loyal always and forever"
- Psalm 100: 5 (MSG)

It is incredible don't you think? A sacrifice. Thank you for all your sacrifices. Remember: God sees.
And until we can meet again somewhere in the world outside, I’ll stay at home.

Cleo Appies

God is in control
God will protect you
His angels are surrounding you and protecting you.
Trust in Him

Hi there
Im also an essential worker at an old age home. I was also anxious about the situation. But I heard a message by a Pastor called Joseph Prince who spoke about God's angels that protect us and the word of God says they are inumerable which is amazing. It shows that God has always had a plan to protect us and keep us safe. And that gave me peace and took the anxiety away. I encourage you today to be strong, I pray that you will receive peace beyond understanding. You are doing an amazing job to keep others safe, to put your lives on the line. Jesus loves you.
God bless
Lesley
Psalm 91

God chose you to do this for His people. You're the chosen one. How great is that? You are appreciated. You are loved. Thank you for allowing God to use you. God bless you abundantly.

Tian Boonzaaier

Dear incredible “ Superheroes”

From the bottom of my heart, I want to say: thank you for your sacrifice.

For some, it will mean being away from your loved ones - to care for others that is in need

As the Psalmist wrote, may no harm or disease come to your door. I pray a Godly protection over you, where you do whatever you need to do, to fight this invisible enemy.

May God’s peace blankets you, when anxiety and hopelessness comes knocking
Be still , and know that He is with you, He is before you, He is behind you , He is beneath You and He is above you.

We just want to say a heartfelt thank you to each and every one of you for the sacrifices you make to help us. You are superheroes who take your responsibilities to the next level! We love you, honour you and will continually keep you and your families in our prayers.

Dearest Doctors and medical workers on the frontline, On Friday my child fell on our trampoline and landed up needing rays at our local hospital . The experience of having ones baby hurt is traumatic however I felt that going out into possibly dangerous covid 19 was so much more stressful. The greatest thing I’ve come away with is utmost admiration and respect for the work you are doing under unbelievably stressful conditions. You are selfless and sacrificial in the truest forms of the words. THANK YOU for all that you are enduring to serve our country. You are so valued and appreciated. I’m praying for you all. (This is a photo of Victoria and I waiting for x rays)

Keanu le Roux

Thank you or spreading the love and not the virus in this time through all that you guys do, practically as well as spiritually. We serve "El Roi" (The-God-Who-Sees) and God sees all that you are doing to spread His love in this time. And He is a rewarder of those that diligently seek Him, by spreading His love, you are diligently seeking Him. He will reward you! Every time you go out might seem like a battle, a battle for your health, to leave your family or even to give to ungrateful people. But we see countless times throughout the bible how God has fought for the battles that are for His kingdom. Exodus 15:6: "Your right hand, O Lord, has become glorious in power; Your right hand, O Lord, has dashed the enemy in pieces." God will fight the battle for you with His powerful right hand.

Nicole Benting

To the one reading this: you are our heroes now, and heroes also sometime doubt themselves and think that they weren't made for this situation. But you are! You are a faith- filled fighter. A God-breathed hero - and may you never forget the sacrifice you're making, is helping to build this nation. My prayers and love goes out to all of you. We are so blessed to have you fighting this battle with us and for us.
THANK YOU, GOD BLESS YOUR GOOD HEARTS

Hi Friend

I want to thank you for your bravery.
In this time I do wish I could be on the frontlines with you, but I know Someone greater is with you where you are🤗

May God bless you for your kindness and I pray all your fears will be silenced as you seek One who is able to keep you and give you the wisdom you need.

Dear Frontline Hero
We thank God for all the work that you do. Thank you for being people who don't turn away in difficult times but get right in the midst of them. In times where most seek to keep for themselves, you continue to give of yourselves. Of this I am confident, God will bring us through it. There is a story behind the glory. Before the world can thank you and recognize you for being the heroes you are, there will be difficulty. This is just one of the chapters in that story. It is not the end. You were made for such a time as this. God could have picked anyone in the earth.
He picked you.
So keep going.
We haven't forgotten about you and we are praying for you all.

Natalie

I am humbled and privileged to be able to write and share my gratitude for all you have done and continue to do for those you do not even know. Your selflessness and tireless work radiates the Heart and Love of Our Father. Thank you for your obedience to the call of God and to serve your country in this way. You are bolder and stronger than you will ever know. We often wonder "why" of the world and its evils but amidst the why you have displayed the How. You are a demonstration of God's Incredible Love towards mankind... YOU ARE HIS HANDS AND FEET AND WE HONOUR AND SALUTE YOU TODAY. THANK YOU FOR ALL YOU DO ❤️

Phemelo Monare

Thank you for your service, I continue to pray for you and your families health, God bless.

Dear courageous hero,

Truly you are inspiring so many people in South Africa, who are realizing the purpose of your efforts now more than ever. What you are doing to assist in saving lives and ensuring health and protection and provision for the needy is an act that will bear powerful fruit of unity in our nation. There is a new road ahead and you have begun paving the way for others. Do not underestimate what you are doing nor what your voice carries.

"But the Lord God has become my divine helper.
He leans into my heart and lays his hands upon me!"
Psalm 54: 4 TPT

My prayer is that you are reminded that Jesus is your source in this season,
He is the only one that can sustain you and refresh you.
May you continue to draw from Him and to seek wisdom and guidance from Him daily.

I pray that you will be protected each day as you step out there in the frontline to bring relief and hope for vulnerable people. May His presence wrap around you and keep you safe.

Thank you for your heart that is serving people and for your love...not only do you love much, but you love well!.

We appreciate you and honour you and could never be grateful enough for all that you do!

THANK YOU

Dear Hero !!

A lot of people are good humans, but you have taken it to another level by adding BRAVE to your list of awesomeness. You are probably the type of person that thinks what you are doing isn't a huge thing BUT it is THE BIGGEST THING !! You are caring for people that without you would've had extreme challenges or been forgotten.

I'm sure you wake up scared for yourself and your family but you are one of those unique individuals who actually does it afraid. Thank you for not stopping and for bravely fighting this fight. You probably will never get a thank you on the scale that you deserve, but in the smallest way, I just want to say thank you. In this context, it seems like Thank you just isn't enough but it is the only words I have - THANK YOU

Anamaria Ospina

Hi you, I'm from Colombia, I do not know you, but we are living the same thing here in Colombia, together we are fighting against coronavirus, I'm staying at home and you probably have to get out to face it. I just wan to say THANK YOU! God bless you and God give you all the strength that you need!

Fadzi

Dear Hero,

When I hear the word "hero" I think of someone who is:
- willing to step in and save the day
- ready to run to where the danger is
- always looking past their weaknesses/ fears and uses whatever strength/ability they have to come to the rescue
- always spreading love and hope to everyone..
and so much more...

"Look! Up in the sky! It's a bird! It's a plane! No it's..." YOU! You are the hero. The hero is YOU.

You are valued. You are celebrated.

Thank you for existing.
Thank you for coming to the rescue.
Thank you for your sacrifice.

Yours in Love,

Fadzi

Dear local Hero

Thank you so much for choosing to serve our community, our people and our city like you do. For choosing faith above fear. For choosing "we" above "I".

I am sure serving like you do didn't come easily. I am sure there is personal costs. Sacrificing yourself and your family / friends. However, please know that YOU are making all the difference to our country. Thank you!

We love you!

Dear Hero

Thank you for your service and sacrifice in this trying time. Your hard work does not go unnoticed and it means so much to me to know that you and your colleagues are available to provide help to our community when needed.

May you perform your duties with joy and wisdom and may you not grow weary when faced with challenges.

Be safe and careful - please look after yourself so that you can keep on helping others!

In time, the COVID-19 pandemic will be over, but the lives we have the opportunity to touch, will forever be changed/grateful.

You and your family remain in the prayers of our nation!

Jeanette

To you all : ‘And who knows but that you have come to (your) position for such a time as this?’ Be strengthened and encouraged! Jesus, Who has all power, is with you!

James Wernich

In times when life seems the hardest, and the struggle is simply to stay alive, it is our frontline heroes that echo the sentiment that every Christian strives for in their journey with God - to be selfless, to be giving, to give of themselves even at great risk when supporting others. Being a Christian is tough in a time when the world doesnt see the blessings out there, but YOU - our frontline heroes - quickly provide us with a dash of remembrance of what good people can do. Faith isnt knowing what will happen tomorrow, Faith is believing that tomorrow will be great. We love you, we honour you, and we thank you for all that you do and are continuously doing.

Felicia Heyburgh

Good evening,
Just want to say thank you for your hardwork and sacrifice during this terrible time we are facing.

I have always found Ps 91 to be my strength whilst facing difficulties, I hope it gives you the same peace and comfort it gives me.

Hi dear friend,

Thank you so much for all that you are doing and sacrificing for our nation. I believe that you will be strengthened in this season to serve like never before!

I'd like to share this verse with you. It comes from Numbers 6:24-26.

May the Lord bless you and protect you.
May the Lord smile on you and be gracious to you.
May the Lord show you his favour and give you his peace.

God will bless you, protect you and provide for you and your family!

You are seen and surrounded by your father in Heaven! He is with you every step along the way. He knows your tomorrow and was there with you yesterday! No matter what people see, think or say about you- he sees right into your heart and understands you! It is his greatest joy to watch his kid! He smiles upon your life and loves all the parts of you! Even the parts that you might have been trying to hide! That’s why Jesus died for you and me! That he might be within our imperfections! No matter you’re actions , as a child of god you already are on the stairway to Heaven! Thus, he rejoices greatly on your loving heart for other people! Thank you for your service to others and your great courage! You are thought of and my prayer is with you!

Dear frontline hero,

Even though we don't know each other, haven't seen each other, I want to see that I admire your work.
I think it is amazing what you do! I have been thinking about you and especially over the weekend.
In the weekend it was Easter and that is Life changing! I pray you give the people what they need, especially
the Life changing Word that God is risen from the dead and we can live! ''He is alive in us!''
I pray you feel that as well and that you get the courage and everything you need to go through this time!

God bless you!
Greetings!

To the frontline hero:

Amid the pandemic and time of fear... your sacrifice to keep working is a light to us all in this darkness! I pray that you stay strong and courageous! (1 Corinthians 16:13) I pray a peace over you and your families that goes beyond all understanding (Philippians 4:6) right now, may that peace guard your mind and heart!

Thank you for the early mornings and the late nights. Thank you for the times you choose to not be with your families, to put others first. Thank you. Thank you. Thank you! May you be blessed!

Dave

Dear Hero

Today I am praying for you as you head out to help our nation. Whatever you do, I want to firstly say thank you and that I truly believe God sees and honours your sacrifice for us. I am praying for your family - that they will be kept safe and that there will be peace for you all in your household.

Thank you for your courage. I pray that your strength will be renewed and that you will find meaning and joy even in these desperate times. Most of all I pray you would know God's love in this time - that the burden you carry is not just your own, but that of a whole nation and we are all carrying that burden for you in prayer and honour.

Hope today is fresh and this encourages you!

God bless

Dear Hero

I don't know who you are, but I trust this letter gets into the right hands.
I want to thank you for exposing yourself to the ruthless elements. What you are doing for the people of this country deserves a standing ovation/Mexican wave. I am sitting in the comfort of my home office knowing that I am safe. I can only imagine what goes on in your mind. I pray that you, your family and fellow heroes be protected in this time. If this was a physical war, then you would be the soldiers on the front line. Thank you for your service. Just know somewhere in Cape Town there's someone praying for you.

Warm Regards

Hi,

You may not know me, but I see you. I see your heart for the people you care for every single day. I see your pain and your fear. I see the weariness on your shoulders and in your mind. I see you...and am thankful to God for you. You are right where He needs you to be. And you know what...you are making a difference...no matter how small or insignificant it may seem. Thank you for being where you are right now. And for staying true to what He has placed in your hands. I pray for strength, courage, wisdom and renewed energy, good health and protection for you, your colleagues and for those you've had to leave behind, so that my family, friends and colleagues may be safe. Amen 🙏

Deuteronomy 31:6 (NIV)
"Be strong and courageous. Do not be afraid or terrified because of them, for the Lord your God goes with you; he will never leave you nor forsake you.”
I salute you for fighting on the frontline for our people. I pray that you will feel our Almighty Father's presence beside you, behind you, beneath you and that you will know that He is one step ahead of you, ALWAYS. He is fighting for you, just as you are fighting for us. Thank you for being so brave in this time. Why wait for the heroes you seek, when you have it in you to become one of them? You are doing such amazing work, do not give up!

Thank you doctor for all your hard work. I love you!

Marietta Bellaard

Dear hard workers! When I came across this I was so happy and surprised! God uses this time of corona to get closer in the spiritual realm. It is a time of distance, but not a spiritual distance. Never forget that! How beautiful, but also exciting that you are entering the neighborhoods. I wish you a lot of strength, courage and the Holy Spirit that goes with you. We don't know what the future holds, but He's there! Do not be afraid, because fear does not exist in His Kingdom. I am proud of you and good luck!

Trevlyn Reeve

Good Afternoon,

I want to take this opportunity to just encourage you through this COVID 19 disease. I think it's such a privilege to try and allow you to see this opportunity of lockdown to actually connect with yourself along with your higher power to fully engage with this free time and know that you are not alone.
This is really a trying time for us all as we may be away from our families and nearest loved ones which could bring up alot for us but I just want to try and encourage the point that we are all here for you and as long as we listen to the suggestions and contain ourselves to lessen the spread of this disease.

I trust that we can stand together with God to contain this virus!

Stay strong and know we are in this together.

Sue Coates

Hello to you all,

I am praying that you have strength and trust that the Lord has put this on your heart and will be your protection over the work you do in the weeks ahead.
I am full of admiration for your efforts you are a credit to this country.

We watched toy story 4 this week during the lockdown and we realized that there is a great message that movie for the doctors, nurses, other staff including cleaning staff, grocery workers and taxi drivers that are working to keep us healthy, safe and comfortable. You all are like Forky from toy story 4, whilst you make not fully realize your worth or value, we the little kids of SA sure do!! GOD BLESS YOU. Love Joshua Govender (9) and Samuel Govender (2)

So, while you are out there saving lives, I am finding ways to keep busy and sane at home. I coloured these three simple words yesterday... Faith, Hope and Love.
Faith looks up - to God - He is the only one who can guide you through this.
Hope looks forward - You will get through this!
Love looks in and then out - You've got what it takes, believe in yourself!
Stay safe, stay strong. South Africa appreciates all you are doing!

Dear: Healthcare worker, cleaner, shopping assistant and person in leadership,

I pray that God will send His army of angels to surround you as you work and care for everyone around you. I pray that God will send His army of angels to protect your family as they wait for you as you work today as the scripture promises in Psalm 91.
I pray for God's kingdom to come!
I ask God to give you supernatural strength to move forward and to press in and see His strength moving you forward when you are too weak.

Across the Nations, we are praying for each and every one of you pressing into prayer and fasting for you.

God is Faithful, He is moving and He has already made a way available even if we cannot see it.
Choose to trust Him and trust that He will turn everything around.

Renette van Blerk

"Are you weary, carrying a heavy burden? Then come to me. I will refresh your life, fir I am your oasis. Simply join your life with mine. Learn my ways and you'll discover that I'm gentle, humble, easy to please. You will find refreshment and rest in me" Matthew 11:28,29
God has His eyes of love, knowledge, peace and refreshments on you! He knows your effort and willingness to help others during this time.
Well done, He is saying to you.

He loves you! His fountain of life is for you. Come and receive His relief in your soul. His supernatural vitamins in your body and His power for your spirit.

Kudus to all of you on the frontline! I salute you and thank God for you. You are our angels without wings. You are more special and invaluable than you will ever know. Thank you , from the bottom of my, for your selfless sacrifice. When you feel down and tired, afraid and uncertain, remember Isaiah 40:31-
But they that wait upon the Lord shall renew their strength; they shall mount up with wings as eagles...they shall run and not grow weary.., And they shall walk and not be faint...
Stay blessed and know that you are loved and appreciated...Always

You are very amazing. Your knowledge and skills to be able to save lives, care and protect for people is beyond measure. I just want to let you know that your work is being seen by the Almighty and you shall be greatly rewarded in His Time.

In this period, I have had many people turn their backs on health workers because they "might" be infectious. But we serve a God who is our defender, protector and Saviour. Do not worry, stay rooted in the Word and keep your focus on your work.

I pray for God's for Mighty hand upon your life. May the Blood of Jesus protect you and your families. You are safe in the Lord's protection. He will never fail nor forsake you. He is a Faithful God.

I LOVE YOU VERY VERY MUCH
