The Tech Talent Advisors (internally we refer to ourselves as Talent Advisors) keep the OfferZen marketplace going and are trusted to help support and guide our Developers, Designers and all people in tech using our marketplace to find a job. As a Tech Recruitment Partner you will partner with stakeholders across the business by seeking out exceptional tech talent (i.e. Software Engineering, Product Management Product Design & Data) and providing a consultative candidate and hiring manager experience. Your role will be at the centre of ensuring a memorable candidate and hiring manager experience, while scaling the OfferZen team for the next stage of growth.
What you’ll do
Ensures that each interaction with the Talent Acquisition team fosters a memorable candidate experience
Proactively designs and drives high quality processes with high quality assessment of candidates
Builds trust and credibility as an advisor to internal and external stakeholders
Conducts quality intake meetings and ensures that scorecards and hiring processes are set up to achieve the desired outcomes
Checks in on the quality of hires and continuously strives to increase the quality of hires
Leverages various sourcing channels to build candidate pipelines
Actively attracts a pool of qualified candidates and effectively moves them through the pipeline in a timely fashion
Assesses the health of pipelines and tailors strategies and tactics to ensure strong candidate pipelines
Drives sessions on roles to calibrate learnings and feed it into role definitions / scorecards and conducts hiring manager and new joiner feedback in regular cadences
Takes a data driven approach and ensures that Greenhouse and other recruitment systems are up to date
Consults data to identify roadblocks and flag inefficiencies and improvements required in the recruitment process
Commits to and meets recruitment metrics related to responsiveness, process management and candidate and hiring manager satisfaction.
Helps drive and execute on hiring process improvements and ad hoc Talent Acquisition projects (e.g. employer branding)

The OfferZen Story
OfferZen is on a mission to improve the experience of finding work for people involved in making software, from developers to designers and data scientists through the utilisation of our world class online recruitment marketplace. We do this by flipping the traditional recruitment model on its head and getting companies to reach out to candidates with upfront offers.
Over the last 6 years, we have managed to make a large dent in the South African online tech recruitment marketplace – and we’re speeding up. We have a team of 100+ people with offices in both Cape Town and Amsterdam. At 6 years young, we’re still in an exciting scale-up phase which allows us to develop new and exciting ideas, innovate our product, and think creatively about solving real problems

What are the Skills required for the Opportunity?
You’ll be a great fit for this role if you have:
National Diploma or Bachelor’s Degree or higher in relevant fields (or a good reason for not pursuing)
2+ years experience as full lifecycle recruitment with proven track record of success as a Tech Recruiter
Experience using an applicant tracking system to manage the end to end recruitment process (Greenhouse experience is a plus!)
Social Networking and Sourcing experience on platforms such as LinkedIn (including boolean string sourcing / managing projects in LinkedIn Recruiter)
Inclination for Talent Acquisition project related work
Experience working within a high growth tech startup is preferable.
A combination of agency and in-house recruitment experience will be advantageous
