Elizabeth is a remarkable woman from the Masiphume

Elizabeth is a remarkable woman from the Masiphumelele community in Fishhoek. Together with her friends she started a soup kitchen to assist the children and elderly with meals. Despite losing their jobs during lockdown these inspirational and selfless women still decided to take what they had and use it to help others. We are so honoured to be able to assist them with ingredients and food parcels. ⠀

Alexander turns 3 years old today! As a birthday present he is asking his friends and family to give towards helping 300 people have food to eat for a week. He is also spending his birthday making sandwiches to do his part in helping.⠀

We were able to supply the bread for their distribution. Partnering with local organisations is so important for reaching those who are struggling the most.
