DISASTER RELIEF

As a church, we are committed to serving our communities, especially during times when they need it most.

The South African Weather Service has issued a warning of devastating winds, disruptive rainfall and very cold conditions across the Western Cape starting on 6 April and continuing on for the rest of the week. We have already heard of strong winds affecting people’s homes, in the Helderberg and Winelands areas, leaving them vulnerable and without a roof over their heads.

Our Somerset West church location is already in the process of helping those whose homes have been affected. On Sunday, our Stellenbosch church location has given out food vouchers to those affected.

WAYS TO GET INVOLVED

PRAY.

Psalm 46:1 says “God is our refuge and strength, always ready to help in times of trouble.”

Pray for God’s protection over our communities over the next few days. For His provision for those who are in need of food and shelter. For His peace to reign in the hearts of those who have been affected and those serving them, like our City Disaster Response Teams.

Give financially towards support and relief for those who have been affected by the inclement weather.

DONATE.
